This resources is a helpful tool for parents and educators. The Learning Disability Association of America (LDAA) provides parents with information to help them better understand learning disabilities, tips and suggestions for the IEP process, and strategies and tools that they can implement with their learners. It also provides parents with links to additional literature and guides to help them navigate raising a student with an SLD. For teachers, the LDAA also provides information on different types of learning disabilities as well as strategies that can be implemented to accommodate their needs and differentiate instruction. It provides educators with different methods to support students in all age ranges and areas of education. |

The National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) detials their mission as "The mission of NCLD is to improve the lives of the 1 in 5 children and adults nationwide with learning and attention issues—by empowering parents and young adults, transforming schools and advocating for equal rights and opportunities." This resource does just that. For parents, educators, and students the NCLD provides four different programs that educate readers about the different elements of SLD and provide resources and teaching strategies. The NCLD also provides information on their latest advocacy efforts in Washington, as well as recent research and studies completed about SLD. |

LD Online is a resource primarily for parents or guardians. They feature numerous articles and videos about SLD ranging from basic information about SLD to more detailed information about specific SLD topics. Another feature of the site is that it heavily features resources for parents looking for help, whether it be how to better advocate for their learners or links to parent support groups. Additionally, there is an area on the website for "Kid's Voices" where kids can share their stories and how their disabilities impact them. |
